This event happened outside of Knoxville, TN. It was around the first week of March, '09. I had gone to bed around 1am. Around 3:30 I was jolted awake by incredibly bright pulsating lights coming through the second story bedroom window. There was also a high-pitched whining/whirring sound that was almost deafening. This lasted maybe 2 minutes. It was very scary but I could not move. I realized that I was lying flat on my back with my arms beside me and all of the blankets had been pushed to the side of the bed. Once the sound stopped I was able to move and ran to the window and looked out but saw nothing. I have no other recollections of the incident.
