Long Description of Sighting Report

A friend and I were stopped at a light in Marietta, the Windy Ridge/Powers Ferry intersection. Silently we both noticed green lights (circular in shape) dancing in the intersection on the pavement. My friend said, "do you see those lights" and I nervously said, "yes, I do." We watching many of them dancing back and forth and then the cylindrical lights became kind of elongated as they moved toward the car and then disappeared. To explain the shape further, they at first seemed circular like if you were to shine a pen flashlight straight down on the pavement and then became elongated in our direction as if a flashlight were tilted. We both looked out the window of the car, but neither of us saw anything in the sky. Also, it was relatively late on a Sunday night and there were no other cars on the road at the time.
