LONG DESCRIPTION OF SIGHTING REPORT

Long Description of Sighting Report
Was at the State Beach next to Hampton Harbor facing out towards the water. While observing an almost perfect display of wave/billow clouds, looking up around 40 degrees, noticed a wingless craft right at cloud level. Craft was cylinder shaped and left no contrail. Flying from North to South. Craft was moving on a steady path. There was a very reflective flash and the craft suddenly appeared metallic and VERY shiny. It immediately changed direction, quickly ascended into the cloud, never to exit. Since the clouds were in a wave like pattern, I would have surely seen it exit the cloud if it continued on it path from N to S. I have close to 20/10 vision and had zero problem observing this event. Prior to viewing craft, a completely black airplane was seen making a wide circle, high over the coastal area. I even commented to my daughter on how it didnt look like the other planes. Definitely not commercial.
